Ryan has been writing on menswear, fashion and lifestyle for almost two decades, beginning his career at Men’s Health in the heady days of men’s publishing (strictly NSFW), before stints at FarFetch and The Rake. Throughout this time, he has freelanced for some of the world’s best publications, including the Financial Times, Sunday Times, MR PORTER and Askmen, alongside consulting for a host of top-flight luxury brands and agencies. When not writing, he spends an ungodly amount of time looking at old unworn pairs of trousers that he has never been able to fit into, and pledging that next summer will be the summer that the status quo changes.
